Base Liquor(s):

1.5 oz of Gin

Other Ingredient(s):

1 oz of Lemon juice

1/3 oz of Simple syrup

1/4 oz of Soda water

Steps:

Shake all ingredients except soda with ice and strain.
Top with soda.
Garnish with a lemon slice and optionally zest.

Note: To make this drink into a John Collins, serve in a highball with ice.
Note: To make this drink into a Tom Collins, use Old Tom gin and serve in a highball with ice.
